My proposal has been accepted for the 2026 Florida Head Start Annual Conference & Expo, taking place October 27–29, 2026 in Orlando, Florida at the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando.

This is a meaningful professional honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share this work with Head Start leaders, educators, and professionals from across Florida.

Presentation Accepted for the 2026 Florida Head Start Conference

According to the acceptance notice, the Professional Development Committee recognized my expertise and invited me to present at the FHSA Annual Conference & Expo. My accepted session is titled:

“Reigniting Joy Through Playful Interactions: Strategies That Support Staff Wellness and Positive Child Outcomes”

This topic is especially important in today’s early childhood landscape, where staff wellness, educator support, and positive child outcomes all matter deeply.

Why This Topic Matters

Early childhood professionals carry a great deal. They serve children and families with dedication, heart, and resilience, often while navigating increasing expectations and daily pressures. That is why conversations around staff wellness in early childhood education are so important.

When educators feel supported, connected, and re-energized, children benefit too.

My session focuses on the power of playful interactions, not as something extra, but as something essential. Joy, connection, and meaningful interaction can help strengthen adult well-being while also supporting healthier, more positive outcomes for children.

Reigniting Joy Through Playful Interactions

The title of this session reflects something I believe deeply: joy and play still matter.

Playful interactions can help bring life back into early childhood settings. They can support stronger relationships, encourage engagement, reduce stress, and create environments where both adults and children can thrive.

This session will explore practical strategies that support:

  • staff wellness
  • meaningful connection
  • positive child outcomes
  • playful learning environments
  • renewed purpose in early childhood work

These are not abstract ideas. They are real, practical, and needed.

A Meaningful Opportunity to Serve Head Start Professionals

The Florida Head Start Annual Conference & Expo is an important event for professionals who are committed to children, families, leadership, and quality early learning. I am honored to be part of this year’s conference and to contribute to the ongoing conversation around wellness, play, and effective early childhood practice.

This opportunity also reflects the heart behind Inspire to Impact Consulting: helping educators, leaders, and programs create more meaningful, connected, and impactful experiences for the children and families they serve.

Looking Ahead

I am truly excited for this opportunity and grateful to share this session with conference attendees in Orlando.

This topic is close to my heart, and I believe it will encourage meaningful reflection, fresh energy, and practical next steps for early childhood professionals who want to support both educator well-being and positive outcomes for children.
